Wild Fly Productions makes $2,548 donation to WNTI

Earlier this year, Wild Fly Productions released a Retro Collection of soft goods designed not only to celebrate fly fishing culture but to directly raise funds for native trout conservation. Wildfly’s first Retro Collection, paired with the film Cutthroat in the Quiet Season, raised $2,548 for Western Native Trout Initiative and helped shine a spotlight on native trout and their waters across the West. Their second Retro Collection supported our “sister” Fish Habitat Partnership, the Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture and, alongside the film North Woods Brookies, contributed $1,770 while highlighting wild Brook Trout and their unique strongholds across the Northeast.

We sincerely appreciate the financial support to help advance our missions to protect and restore native trout, but just as importantly, we are grateful for the awareness and visibility that Wildfly continues to bring to both Fish Habitat Parterships. Their films, platform, and storytelling reach people we could never reach alone, and that awareness is invaluable for native trout conservation nationwide.  On behalf of Western Native Trout Initiative and Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture, thank you Wildfly Productions for your partnership and for helping more people learn about, value, and support native and the rivers they depend on.
